The 2025 cruise season is on the horizon, and Victoria is rolling out the red carpet! This Thursday, Disney Wonder arrives at Pier B in the Breakwater District at 8 a.m., carrying over 2,700 passengers and 950 crew. Departing at 5 p.m., the ship makes a special stop on its way from Australia and New Zealand before heading to San Diego and eventually Alaska.
To mark the occasion, Chief Jerome Thomas of the Xʷsepsəm Nation will deliver a traditional Lək̓ʷəŋən welcome to the captain, celebrating the rich cultural heritage of the region.
Victoria’s official cruise season kicks off April 4 with the arrival of Holland America’s Koningsdam. In 2025, approximately 320 ships are expected, bringing nearly one million visitors and delivering a major boost to the local economy. Last year, cruise tourism contributed $1.92 billion to businesses across the city and province.
